Rastamon in Livermore probably felt it more than I, but here in ess eff I awoke a little groggy thinking that someone was in my room jumping up-and-down on the bed. After ten years of feeling them they still provide a strange experience, especially when they are over 4.

Good to know that it's all still in one piece.

In the East Bay there was a short power outage and an assorted amount of broken windows and things. It sounds as if a donut shop in Berkeley got it the worst.

I believe it took place on one of the faults that continually generate quakes that act as release valves and not one of the ones that just build up and go BANG!!!

I just don't want to hear this line from a geologist that I heard a year or so ago after another moderate quake: "well we did't know about that fault."

It is weird that I live less than three blocks from my last place but I feel them so much stronger at this location.
